Why we exist, what drives us, and who we're here for.
Helping Hand Tutoring Ltd was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their circumstances. Too many young people fall behind not because they lack ability, but because they lack the right support at the right time.

Helping Hand Tutoring is led by people who have worked directly in education — in classrooms, with young people who needed extra support, and alongside the organisations that care for them.

We connect skilled, caring tutors with children and young people who need additional educational support — making one-to-one tuition accessible, flexible, and genuinely effective, right across Northern Ireland.
Children and young people who are looked after, or who have experienced disruption in their education, often face additional barriers to learning. A change of school, placement, or home life can mean falling behind through no fault of their own.
We work in partnership with organisations across Northern Ireland to provide consistent, one-to-one tuition that helps these young people catch up, build confidence, and see what they're capable of — often for the first time.
"Every session is a chance to show a young person that someone believes in them."
We treat every child, family, and tutor with warmth, patience, and respect.
We believe potential isn't fixed — the right support can change a young person's path.
Every tutor is AccessNI checked, so families and partner organisations can trust us completely.
We work closely with schools, Trusts, and organisations to get the right support to the right pupil.
