Why we exist, what drives us, and who we're here for.
Helping Hand Tutoring Ltd has been supporting children and young people across Northern Ireland for almost 20 years. Since 2006, we have worked with hundreds of pupils in foster care and children supported by Looked After Children's Teams, providing high-quality one-to-one tuition tailored to their individual needs.
We deliver tutoring support across the province, working closely with fostering and social work teams to provide a trusted, professional service where it is needed most.
Our tutoring assignments are particularly rewarding because they give tutors the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people who may need additional support, stability and encouragement in their education.
Through consistent one-to-one tutoring, we aim to build confidence, improve progress and help every pupil reach their potential in a supportive and nurturing way.
Helping Hand Tutoring Ltd has built a strong reputation for providing reliable, high-quality tuition to children and young people referred through fostering and social work services. We are proud to work with families, social workers and support teams across Northern Ireland, matching pupils with tutors who can meet their educational needs with professionalism, patience and care.
The safety and wellbeing of every child is of paramount importance to us. Helping Hand Tutoring Ltd is a registered AccessNI body, and all tutors are required to undergo an Enhanced AccessNI check before undertaking tuition on our behalf. We are pleased to provide this check free of charge to approved tutors joining our team, ensuring that safeguarding remains at the heart of everything we do.
We treat every child, family, and tutor with warmth, patience, and respect.
We believe potential isn't fixed — the right support can change a young person's path.
Every tutor is AccessNI checked, so families and partner organisations can trust us completely.
We work closely with schools, Trusts, and organisations to get the right support to the right pupil.
